Who is Qualis?

Qualis is the private limited company Qualis BV, with its registered office at Albert Einsteinweg 30, (5151 DL) Drunen, the Netherlands, registered in the trade register of the Chamber of Commerce under number 17152335.

When Qualis processes your personal data, Qualis is the data controller. Qualis has appointed a data protection officer. Qualis can be reached via info@qualis.nl.

How does Qualis use your data?

How does Qualis obtain your personal data?

Qualis holds data about you because you have provided that data to us.

What are your rights?

Under the European General Data Protection Regulation, you have a number of rights regarding your data and its processing:

Access
You can always view and, if necessary, amend your own (personal) data in your account. If you wish to see the personal data Qualis holds about you, you can submit an access request.

Changes
If you wish to make changes to the personal data you have seen following an access request and which you cannot change yourself in your account, you may submit a request to Qualis. You may ask Qualis to amend, improve, supplement, delete or restrict your data.

Restriction of processing
You also have the right, subject to conditions, to request Qualis to restrict the processing of your personal data.

Right to object
If a particular processing takes place on the basis of the 'legitimate interest' of Qualis or a third party, you have the right to object to that processing.

Data portability
You have the right to obtain your personal data from Qualis. Qualis will provide this in a structured and commonly used format that can be easily opened in other commonly used digital systems. In this way, you can also transfer your data to another provider.

Withdraw consent
In all cases where the legal basis for a particular data processing is your consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent. This has no effect on the past, but it does mean that we may no longer process that data. Qualis may therefore no longer be able to provide you with certain services.

Response by Qualis
A request can be sent to info@qualis.nl. Qualis will fulfil your request as soon as possible and in any event no later than one (1) month after Qualis has received such a request. If Qualis rejects your request, we will state in our response why the request is being refused.

 

Recipients of personal data

The data may be disclosed to: Processors; parties involved in the performance or fulfilment of an agreement between you and Qualis; external advisers. Qualis may be obliged to provide your data to a third party, for example on the basis of a legal obligation.

 

Transfer to third countries or international organisations

For (for example) technical and operational reasons, it may be necessary for your (personal) data to be transferred to Qualis-affiliated companies outside the European Economic Area. Because privacy protection legislation there may not offer the same level of protection as within the European Economic Area, Qualis will use the Privacy Shield or EU Model Clauses to protect your privacy as far as possible. When that is not possible, Qualis will ask for your consent to transfer your (personal) data to countries without an adequate level of protection. You may withdraw this consent at any time.

What are cookies and how does Qualis use them?

Cookies are small pieces of (text) information that are sent to your browser when you visit the Qualis website and are then stored on the hard drive or in the memory of your computer, tablet, mobile phone or other device (hereinafter: 'Device'). The cookies placed via the Qualis website cannot damage your Device or the files stored on it. When we refer to 'cookies', we mean not only these small pieces of (text) information, but also similar techniques used to collect information, such as device fingerprinting.

Can this Privacy Statement be amended?

This Privacy Statement may be amended. We therefore advise you to review the Privacy Statement regularly for any changes.
